When our Fabric Arts ministry began, folks gathered to make quilts, baby blankets, and prayer shawls. Today we support Lancaster General Hospital by making heart comfort pillows for those who have undergone mastectomies.
We also provide LGH with hats and scarves that are always available in the Emergency Room Department for anyone in need – patients or neighbors alike.
And, we make fidget blankets. These blankets help ease anxiety for those with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and various types of autism. We provide these to LGH, local assisted living facilities, and also to hospice.
